Spring is here in Indian Neck...or is it?

It's part of living in New England...we are used to it, but the bees aren't fans! We've had more than a few rainy days in the past few months, so our bees have been slower to produce honey, but we're crossing our fingers that sunshine will be here soon.

Just like us, our bees prefer to stay inside their home when it's rainy and cold, so they haven't been foraging for their favorite nectar. We're starting to see more flowers blossom, so we're hoping bees will be out and about soon.

Our first crop of honey for the year was delicious though, and we can't wait to share more!

First batch of 2019
