It's been a busy month at Necker's Farm! Here are some rescues from May:
Other beekeepers said this one was impossible, too high in a tree. But a little bucket and the queen saved the hive.
This was a dark late night removal. 20 lbs. of honeycomb and nectar were removed.
3 cast swarms on this one. A real beauty.
Unfortunately for some homeowners, bees love chimneys.
These bees were not feeling the rescue.
I used to climb trees for fun as a kid. Now, for a different reason.
No comb on this one!
